This original 1944 poster was created to advertise Gevaert Express Superchrom, a high quality color slide film produced by the Belgian photographic company Gevaert. Issued during a period when amateur photography was becoming increasingly accessible, the poster reflects the growing popularity of color film in postwar Europe. The handwritten style slogan “pour photos parfaites” (for perfect photos) reinforces the brand’s emphasis on dependable results. Both nostalgic and technically grounded, this poster is a strong example of early 1960s photographic advertising and remains a collectible piece from a pivotal era in color photography. Size: 21.5" x 16.5" Condition: Good, Age-appropriate wear, fading and toning. Faint age spotting. Tax stamps in lower corner as issued. General border wear. Please use the photo zoom feature to get a better understanding of overall condition. *Additional photos available upon request.
