Geode Frame Necklace

This necklace was constructed to be reminiscent of a geode, or raw gemstone point.  Our classic Vannucci touch is added with the delicate dripping chain of gemstones in the center.  Little blue zircons add detail to the chain +++ Metal: 14k Gold filled  Gemstones: Rhodolite garnet, opal, moss aquamarine, tourmaline, kyanite, and aquamarine Dimensions:  Center drop is about 1.75"  Complete with our signature handcrafted tension "S" clasp closure.  Perfect for anyone that struggles with solo-clasping a lobster or spring ring clasp.  Extenders can be clasped anywhere along the chain, excellent for layering options.  +++ OPAL is formed from rain. We are not sure EXACTLY how this process goes, but many believe it is formed when water from rain seeps down into crevasses in the rock. Once the water evaporates, the silica that is left behind dries out and hardens into precious.  On the more metaphysical side, it can sooth and clear the emotional body, and boosts the will to live and the joy of one’s earthly existence. It kindles optimism, enthusiasm and creativity, and allows for the release of inhibitions inspiring love and passion. MOSS AQUAMARINE is style of “beryl” gemstone.  Early versions of the crystal ball were made from beryl, until the more popular crystal quartz started to dominate. Beryl teaches you how to do only that which you need to do at that time and place. It is the ultimate stone for these strange times, as it helps you deal with a stressful life and gives you the ability to shed unwanted emotional baggage. Beryl helps you realize your potential, and can guide you to the next step of your journey.  +++ ABOUT 14k GOLD FILLED *Gold filled is the next level and is an amazing, quality alternative to solid gold *It is actual layers of gold pressure bonded with other jeweler quality metals.  While gold plating can eventually wear off, gold filled is required by law to contain 5% gold (plated is more like .5%) and it’s therefore extremely uncommon to wear through gold filled *If you can wear gold jewelry without skin sensitivity, you can most likely wear gold filled! *During the mid to late Victorian period, gold filled jewelry was very common and was manufactured in large numbers. *For more in depth info, check out this BLOG POST!
