Genevieve

Name | Genevieve aka Geni Breed | LaMancha Born | 3/8/2015 Loves | Gardening and immediately eating the plants We once joked that if Genevieve had a baby, I would keep it. Turns out, we kept all but 1 Genevieve baby over her years of breeding. She's mom to Greta, Harper Jean, Gus Gus, & Gia. Grandma to Thor & Ate and Ari & Ace. Great-Grandma to Paris & London and Moochacho! Genevieve has been a show goat, breeding mom and loved member of our family since she came home as a tiny bottle baby in 2015 as our oldest son's "birthday goat". She has been an incredible girl. Jake trained her to catch a swinging ball when she was young, she's made an amazing 4-H goat. She stood for milking and was routinely used to teach kids how to show and milk. Genevieve adores being a mom even to this day. She is extremely bonded with her daughters. In fact, Geni and Gia HAVE to live together for the rest of their lives as they are considered one spirit. She currently has a medical issue. While she's stable now, we continue to watch an area of her jaw that had an infection settle into the bone after a tooth extraction. At 10+ years old, she gets a daily dose of Meloxicam in a fig newton to keep on top of any old-age inflammation  Become a Goat Guardian! 🐐❤️ Our Goat Guardian Sponsorship Program is a monthly way to directly support the 24/7, 365-day care of our beloved herd. With over 45 goats depending on us, your sponsorship helps cover the essentials that keep our girls and guys happy, healthy & spoiled year-round. This includes medical care for our aging goats, hay and grain, prenatal and baby needs, treats and daily enrichment, plus the ongoing maintenance and responsible expansion of our herd. Your sponsorship is considered a monthly donation and can be cancelled at any time. Every contribution—big or small—makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the goats who call Syman Says Farms home. Thank you for being part of their story. 🫶🐐
