Gauging Trowel

The Bon Tool Gauging Trowel is a compact 7″ x 3-3/8″ trowel with a traditional wood handle. Use it to gauge, mix, and place small amounts of lime plaster, NHL mortar, lime putty, and other materials. The rounded blade gives good control in tight spots—patching plaster, filling small voids, working around stone, loading a hawk, or mixing a small batchs right in the bucket. It is a useful everyday tool for finish work, repairs, and historic masonry projects where a full-size trowel is too large. Made for Bon Tool with a wood handle and steel blade. Lime is caustic, so wash and dry the trowel after each use for best performance and longer life. Made in Taiwan.
