Working with heritage brands like Stetson and Pendleton means entering the realm of deep craft and enduring devotion. It is an honor to collaborate with two houses that have spent over a century perfecting their pieces — creating work whose quality transcends both time and trend. Lindsey Thornburg has always been drawn to that kind of focus — to making heirloom pieces that people return to again and again, because they carry not just a history, but a feeling. In a world of endless choices, trust has become the truest commodity. To stand alongside brands that embody integrity and longevity is the highest compliment. The Gatekeeper is an archival Pendleton design, originally introduced in 1935 and reimagined through the collaboration between Stetson and Lindsey Thornburg. Rooted in Pendleton’s storied heritage, the pattern centers around an eight-pointed star — a symbol often found in Lakota tradition, representing the Morning Star, the “gatekeeper of the day,” guiding the way toward light and knowledge. This design is a classic example of a Centerpoint pattern, defined by its balanced symmetry and a central motif aligned within a bold horizontal band — a hallmark of Pendleton’s early masterworks.
