Gas Station Mat

Rubber-Cal’s Gas Station Mat is the perfect protective and affordable flooring mat, designed specifically for use at gas stations. This circular rubber mat is made to cover sump fuel grates – the ground openings at gas stations which are used by tankers to top up the station’s fuel supply. Covering a sump with the durable Gas Station Mat will prevent rainwater and other potential contaminants from leaking inside, as well as protecting the grate from physical damage. The mat is made from all-weather SBR rubber and reclaimed rubber, which means it can be left outdoors and provide outstanding protection, rain or shine. Waterproof matting: The Gas Station Mat’s rubber material is completely non-porous and waterproof. This means that it can create an effective watertight covering over a fuel sump, preventing the leakage of water and other fluids into the sump opening. Preventing any sump contamination can help protect gas station operators from the costly and time-consuming process of cleaning out their fuel supply. Tough and Impact-Absorbent: Made from SBR and reclaimed rubber, this mat is tough enough to survive in hostile conditions. The mat is physically strong and provides some cushioning against shocks and impacts. This allows it to protect sump grates from being damaged by serious impacts, such as heavy cars and trucks driving over them. The material is also resistant to outdoor elements such as moisture and UV rays, making it a long-term solution for any gas station. Enhanced Traction and Safety: Diamond-plate style protrusions cover the surface of the Gas Station Mat. This texturing not only looks great, but also offers enhanced grip for anyone walking over the mat – even in wet conditions. The extra traction provided is an important feature for potentially-hazardous gas station environments. Each Gas Station Mat also has beveled edges for added safety.
