EZBio® Ultra Maxpure Capsule Filter 5", Double-Layer PTFE, Silicone O-Ring, Non-Sterile, 1/CS

Foxx Life Sciences’ EZBio® Ultra Capsule Filters with PTFE membrane are pre-assembled, enclosed filtration devices. These PTFE cartridges have optimized flow rates with absolute and reliable particles and microorganism retention. Capsule filters feature high grade, double-layered Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane, with bacterial retention rate up to 0.2µm. PTFE cartridges are tested for extremely low extractables. These membranes are engineered for the filtration of process fluids that require a high degree of particle retention or constant bacterial barrier for effective sterilization. This unique combination of features positions them as one of the most reliable and economical PTFE membranes in the market. Available with a variety of inlet/outlet configurations—including hose barbs, female NPT, and sanitary connections—these capsule filters are suitable for a wide range of bioprocessing applications. They are designed to operate at pressures up to 5.5 bar (80 psi), making them ideal for critical filtration tasks in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and industrial processes. Provides sterile retention of airborne microorganisms while preventing liquid intrusion Pleated PTFE structure maximizes surface area to support high gas throughput and efficient venting Effective area from 1.28 ft2 to 30.03 ft2 that gives better hold up volume Double layered filter membrane for reducing clogging and extending filter life Filters are autoclavable up to 20 times Materials comply with USP Class VI standards Buffer preparation Cell culture media preparation, protein purification High-purity chemical filtration Sample preparation Air & gas Filtration Capsule Material Polypropylene O-ring Material Silicone Membrane material PTFE Effective Area 1.27 ft² Maximum Differential Pressure Forward: 75 psid (5.1 bar) @ 75F (24°C) 40 psid (2.8 bar) @ 180F (82°C) Reverse: 50 psid (3.4 bar) @ 75F (24°C) Maximum Operating Temperature 180 F (82°C) Continuous Duty 📄 EZBIo® Ultra Capsule Filters - PTFE Download PDF →
