Garniel Leather Clutch

Inspired by objects that hold memory, this piece is born from a renewed Garniel reinterpreted through a contemporary lens that honors its origin. The cuts at the edges reveal the Hoja de Árbol weave, a Vélez icon inspired by the ancestral Kanzachu symbol found in Arhuacan mochilas. The handle, crafted from reclaimed wood recovered from the Colombian sea, preserves the forms and grain sculpted by time, making each piece unrepeatable. Part of the J Balvin x Vélez collaboration, this design celebrates Colombian heritage through a contemporary vision of craft and design.
