Garnet Trillion Pendant for Root Chakra

Our pendants differ from necklaces in that they do not have a chain.  For those who wish to expand their ChakraJewel collection or already have a chain, this is the perfect solution.  All our necklaces are available as pendants. The root chakra is also the first chakra.  It is located where the legs meet the trunk of the body. Stone:  Garnet trillion Size: approximately 1/2" triangle shape - great depth and weight to this small stone Garnet Trillion Pendant Desciption:  Garnets are found in many colors including red, orange, green, brown, purple, blue, black, pink and colorless, but they are best known for their rich red color as is shown in our spectacular fist chakra jewel.  It is not easy to find high quality garnet beads, because the material is too valuable to waste drilling a hole in it.  I was thrilled when I had the chance to buy these.  The color and clarity are superb, but it is the trillion cut that makes this such a special gemstone.  While the stone is relatively small, it is thick and with a nice weight to it.  These garnets bring to mind the juicy red color of pomegranate seeds and bright red cranberries.  The stone pictured  is a sample, but all the material we have is quite similar.  As is often the case with garnets, there are some small surface pits and inclusions, but nothing that detracts from these sparkling beauties.    Root Chakra Information for Garnet Trillion Pendant When embarking on chakra study, this is the place to begin.  The first or root chakra is centered around our most basic need to survive and thrive.  Security, home, safety, family and a connection to the earth are all paramount to this chakra.  First chakra energy runs through the lower trunk of the body down to the feet.  Simply by pressing your feet against the ground, you feel stronger and more balanced.  Standing your ground, finding your roots, being surefooted, well grounded or rock solid, are all common sayings that revolve around the first chakra.  Communing with nature is a sure way to connect with this part of the chakra system.  It is the feeling that we belong to the earth, not the other way around.
