These stunning earrings feature a brass wire with a gorgeous semi-precious garnet stone.   Measures approximately 2 1/2" long.  Stone measures approximately 1" long by 3/8" wide. Hand-cut brass and garnet.  All of our products are shipped with cards containing information about fair trade and the corresponding artisan group. ABOUT THE ARTISANS This piece of jewelry was handmade in a small fair trade cooperative in Rajasthan, India.  The artisans are paid a living wage and are empowered in their work.  An emphasis is made on ensuring that their traditional crafts are preserved and celebrated.  This unique jewelry combines ethnic and contemporary designs to create an innovative look.  All materials are natural and ethically sourced, and procured locally whenever possible.  The artisans are highly skilled in their craft, and being part of a fair trade cooperative has enabled them to expand their market to the west.
