Late-season, Marbled Purple Stripe type. An eye-opening garlic with a strong, spicy flavor that mellows to a tasty nuttiness when roasted or baked. Big, flattened heads sport a purple-streaked wrapper and 5-7 stout cloves protected by easy-peel, tan skins striped in purple/red. Garlic is shipped only in the fall—starting in mid-September, depending on the season and the variety. Quantities are limited; order early for best availability. Sorry, not available to Idaho, US Territories, or Canada.
