The Garish Flash Midge is built to be impossible for trout to ignore — whether you're nymphing tailwaters or sneaking a cast into pond edges where midges rule the menu. Part of the AXG Life collection: Life, Adventure-Ready and ready to make your next drift less boring. Key Features & Design Pattern: Garish Flash Midge — designed specifically to mimic midges. Color: Black — classic, contrasts well in most water conditions. Flash: Tied with flashing material in the body for extra attraction and visibility. Ideal water types: Tailwaters, freestone rivers, lakes, and ponds — basically anywhere midges are on the menu. Performance & Benefits This little gem turns subtle insect activity into unmistakable dining signals for trout. The added flash makes the fly visible in low-light or murky conditions and gives it a pulse that trout can't help but check out. Use it when naturals are small and picky, or anytime you want more strikes than explanations. Attracts picky trout: Flash mimics the shimmer of real midges and triggers investigative strikes. Versatile: Equally effective in slow pond slogs and technical tailwater presentations. Confidence in the bag: Small, flashy, and dependable—keeps you fishing longer and guessing less. Pack a few Garish Flash Midges on your next trip and watch stubborn fish stop being stubborn. Toss it in your fly box and upgrade your story-telling from “almost” to “remember when.” Add to cart and make your next drift the one everyone brags about.
