CAD designed by Slovenian slalom coach and former K1 Slovenian team member, Aleš Kuder - the Q 18 fully carbon slalom blades are an excellent choice of paddle at the top end of competition. In addition, the Q 18 has been tested and put through its paces by the Slovenian kayak team. The Q 18 blade is off-set to the axis of the shaft, as a result - it provides a perfectly balanced stroke, excelling at Duffek strokes.. These robust blades offer extra stability during fast and strong strokes, compared with the popular Meg and Naja blades. These blades has an integral alloy edge to resist abrasion. Use in salt water is not recommended.
