ZERO STICKY RESIDUE & SURFACE SAFE: Mark your floors and gear with confidence. Our specialized synthetic rubber adhesive holds strong through rehearsals and performances but peels off 100% clean. It leaves no permanent, gooey mess behind on stage decking, venue floors, or expensive equipment. NON-REFLECTIVE MATTE FINISH: Eliminate distracting glare under bright lights. The premium woven cotton cloth backing absorbs stage lights and camera flashes, ensuring your marks remain visible to the crew and actors while staying hidden from the audience and the lens. UV-REACTIVE & DARK STAGE VISIBLE: These fluorescent colors are UV-friendly and glow brilliantly under blacklights. This is essential for helping actors find their "spike" marks and helping crew navigate safely in the dim or dark lighting conditions typical of backstage areas. 100% MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE (MADE IN THE USA): We never compromise on quality. We are so confident that our premium, American-made multi-color spike tape will be the most used tool in your gig bag that we offer a full, no-questions-asked refund if you aren't completely satisfied. Frequently Asked Questions: Multi-Color Spike Tape (5-Pack, 20-Yard Rolls) What is the difference between this and standard 2-inch gaffer tape? Spike tape is essentially a narrow version (1/2 inch) of gaffer tape. While 2-inch tape is used for heavy-duty tasks like securing cables, spike tape is used for precision marking. The 1/2-inch width allows you to create small, specific marks on stage floors (spikes) or label individual channels on a mixing console without wasting excess tape. Will these rolls fit in a standard pocket or gig bag? Yes. These rolls are designed to be compact and portable. Because they are only 1/2 inch wide, you can easily carry multiple colors in your pocket, tool pouch, or camera bag, allowing you to mark the stage on the move. Is this tape safe for high-end hardwood or stage floors? Yes. Our spike tape uses a professional-grade adhesive designed for the entertainment industry. It is safe for most finished stage floors, hardwood, and tile. It grips firmly to prevent slipping but removes cleanly without damaging the surface or leaving residue. Can I write on the different colors? Yes. The matte cloth surface is designed to take ink from permanent markers perfectly. This makes it ideal for color-coding and labeling specific wireless transmitters, microphones, or cables where a simple color-code isn't enough information. How does the UV-reactive feature work? The fluorescent pigments in the tape react to Ultraviolet (UV) light. Under a standard stage blacklight, the tape will appear to "glow," making it incredibly easy for actors and stagehands to see their positions in the dark during scene transitions or blackouts.
