G Salt

Introducing Wah Gwan Seasonings' G Salt, a treasure trove of flavor derived from the finest French Grey Salt.  French Grey Salt, also known as "Sel Gris" or "Celtic Sea Salt," is a mineral-rich salt harvested from the coastal regions of France, particularly from the Guérande region and the Île de Ré. Its distinctive grey hue results from the clay and mineral deposits it collects as it evaporates from seawater. Harvesting French Grey Salt is a centuries-old tradition. Skilled salt farmers, known as paludiers, carefully collect the salt by hand from salt marshes, where seawater is channeled into shallow clay basins known as "salterns." As the water evaporates under the sun and wind, it leaves behind delicate crystals of salt, which are then raked and harvested by the Paludiers. This artisanal process ensures that each crystal of G Salt is imbued with the essence of the sea and enriched with essential minerals such as magnesium, potassium, and calcium. The result is a salt that enhances the dishes' flavor and provides health benefits, giving you confidence in your culinary choices. At Wah Gwan Seasonings, we champion the notion of mindful seasoning, encouraging users to embrace the culinary journey by slightly undersalting during cooking. Then, to culminate the dish with a flourish of our superlative G Salt. This approach elevates the flavor profile of your creations and aligns with our unwavering commitment to promoting health and wellness in every culinary endeavor, supporting you in your quest for a healthier lifestyle. Indulge in the richness of French Grey Salt with Wah Gwan Seasonings' G Salt, and unlock a world of unparalleled taste and refinement.
