G. Loomis NRX+ Jig & Worm Casting Rods

A legendary reimagination of an iconic series of actions, the G. Loomis NRX+ JIG & WORM draws from more than forty years of technology, innovation, and design to meet the performance demands of today’s avid bass angler. Rolled for beastly bottom contact performance, this family of actions provides the perfect combination of technical sensitivity and pure power. Designed for pocket-punching tactics like flipping and pitching, NRX+ JIG & WORM features fast to extra-fast actions to increase accuracy and line control for low trajectory casting scenarios and imparting subtle movement to the bait. This, matched with a sturdy butt section to provide ample pulling power when clearing beasts from heavy cover, also offers enhanced utility when dragging football jigs off a ledge or slinging ribbontails at the bank. To achieve this, we use only the most advanced technologies, construction processes, and componentry to engineer a rod that offers anglers best-in-class performance. Our American-made blanks are rolled with Spiral X technology to provide ultra-fast recovery for increased casting distance, heightened sensitivity, and drastic weight reduction. CI4+ reel seats maximize an angler’s connection to the blank for unsurpassed bite transmission and all-day comfort. Equipped with a hybrid guide train, NRX+ empowers anglers to make long, accurate casts for increased effectiveness on the water. Radically redefined, the NRX+ JIG & WORM is the culmination of our obsessive drive to provide bass anglers with the most advanced fishing tools on the planet.
