Universal Round Flanged New Contruction Plate | Goodlite G-98800

Streamline your inventory management and accelerate rough-in installation speeds with the 10-in-1 Universal Round Flanged New Construction Plate (Product Code: G-98800). Purpose-built for new construction framing phases, this heavy-duty layout substrate is anchored directly to ceiling wood joists or standard commercial T-bar grids before sheetrock application. It establishes precise positioning guidelines for residential and commercial round recessed downlights, ensuring perfectly centered, error-free cuts across every ceiling run. Constructed from premium galvanized steel to resist bending, warping, and harsh job site conditions, the G-98800 features a highly innovative concentric multi-ring design. This single rough-in plate acts as an all-in-one layout calculator, integrating 10 distinct precut diameter rings into its structural framing surface. Installers can easily punch out or cut away to the exact diameter required for their specific fixture trim, eliminating the need to carry multiple plate sizes to a single job site. By creating an unyielding structural metal edge for drywall routing tools, this flanged layout plate guarantees perfectly circular cutouts with zero drywall blowout. It easily handles the weight load of heavy remote electronic driver boxes, eliminating unsightly ceiling sagging over time.
