3.7 Inch Recessed Mount Junction Box | White | Jupiter Series | Goodlite G-37050

Achieve a completely flush, clean architectural aesthetic with the Jupiter 3.7" Recessed Mount Junction Box. Registered under product code G-37050 (Ordering Code: CYD/37/RCM/JB), this specialized structural rough-in component is engineered to hide the electrical connection points of surface cylinders inside the ceiling plenum. Designed to pair seamlessly with the Jupiter architectural cylinder series, this round mounting solution shifts the heavy visual footprint of a standard surface box out of sight, leaving only the minimalist line of your finished luminaire exposed. This junction box requires a precise 2.36-inch ceiling cutout for installation and demands a minimum of 2.87 inches of clear shallow plenum ceiling space to safely accommodate the box housing and necessary wiring connections. Constructed from heavy-duty structural metal with integrated knockouts for standard conduit runs, it provides a stable, code-compliant anchorage point for commercial or high-end residential applications. The compact 3.70-inch round face configuration matches the diameter profile of standard 3.7" cylinders perfectly, establishing an invisible, seamless structural transition from the ceiling plane down to the light fixture. Key Features: Flush Recessed Profile: Moves the structural junction housing above the ceiling line, allowing for clean, high-end architectural cylinder installations without bulky surface boxes. Compact Ceiling Footprint: Requires a small 2.36" installation hole, preserving ceiling structural integrity while providing ample room for secure electrical wiring. Shallow Plenum Optimization: Requires only 2.87" of vertical interior ceiling clearance, making it suitable for tight joists, dropped soffits, and shallow plenum spaces. Heavy-Duty Construction: Built with rugged structural containment and mounting tabs to securely support the dead weight of matching commercial-grade cylinder fixtures.
