2.5 Inch J-Box Mud Plate | White | Jupiter Series | Goodlite G-25051

Achieve a completely flush, high-end trimless ceiling finish with the Jupiter 2.5-Inch J-Box Mud Plate (Product Code: G-25051). Specifically engineered for high-end hospitality, premium custom residential, and modern architectural spaces, this heavy-duty plaster plate allows you to completely blend standard electrical rough-in hardware directly into the ceiling plane. It serves as a structural mud-in adapter, letting drywall crews skim compound smoothly over the junction point to create a seamless, flange-free open collar for the Jupiter cylinder series. Manufactured from premium commercial-grade steel, the mud plate features a substantial 5.51-inch outside diameter (OD). This expansive surface area provides a wide, rigid perimeter that prevents the surrounding plaster from cracking or sagging over time due to structural vibrations. Designed for a direct 4" J-Box mounting layout, the adapter plate bolts securely onto standard 4-inch octagonal or round junction boxes, bridging the gap between raw electrical frameworks and finished architectural surfaces. Once mudded, sanded, and painted to match the ceiling texture, all bulky hardware is completely concealed behind the plaster line. The result is a hyper-minimalist, clean 2.50-inch circular opening that allows matching Jupiter fixtures to transition out of the ceiling with a flawless, custom-molded presentation. Key Features: Flawless Trimless Plaster Integration: Designed to be completely mudded into the drywall, eliminating unsightly plastic trims, overlapping flanges, or exposed metallic cover rings. Wide Anti-Crack Outer Flange: The generous 5.51" outside diameter provides excellent surface adhesion for joint compound, keeping the ceiling seamless and resistant to hairline fractures. Standard 4" Junction Box Mount: Screws directly to standard 4-inch electrical rough-in enclosures, making it simple to incorporate into standard construction workflows.
