6 Inch Round Regress Slim LED Downlight | 1,350 Lm | 120/277V | CCT Selectable | Fire Rated Series | Goodlite G-20253

Ensure critical structural safety compliance while maintaining a clean architectural aesthetic with the Fire Rated 6" Round Regress Slim LED Downlight. Registered under product code G-20253 (Ordering Code: S6/18W/R/LED/5CCT FR), this heavy-duty recessed luminaire features an integrated 2-hour fire-rated defense barrier. Engineered specifically to preserve the structural integrity of fire-resistance-rated ceiling assemblies, this fixture prevents the rapid spread of heat, flames, and toxic smoke into upper floor cavities during an emergency, eliminating the need for bulky external drywall fire boxes. Finished in a durable architectural matte white, the trimmed perimeter sits flush against the ceiling surface for a polished look. This downlight features an advanced regressed optical design where the light source is set back into the housing rather than sitting flush with the ceiling line. This layout creates a subtle mechanical cutoff angle that deeply softens harsh glare and shields eyes from stray ambient illumination. The housing depth measures 2.91 inches to accommodate the heavy structural fire shielding, and it utilizes robust, high-tension retention clips calibrated for standard double 5/8" sheetrock ceiling configurations. Color performance is field-adjustable via a built-in toggle switch providing 5-CCT selectable color temperatures (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4100K, and 5000K). Driven by a high-output 18-watt LED engine, it generates 1350 lumens of high-vibrancy light (CRI >90) diffused through a frosted lens at a wide 100° beam spread. The universal 120-277V internal system works smoothly with standard Triac line-voltage or commercial 0-10V dimming networks down to 5%. Key Features: Certified 2-Hour Fire Protection: Built-in heavy-duty fire barrier meets strict building codes by reinforcing the ceiling's fire separation rating. Deep Regressed Anti-Glare Design: Recessed optical positioning limits side-glare to improve visual comfort. Double 5/8" Drywall Compatible: Heavy-duty tension spring clips are custom-engineered to clamp securely onto double-layer thick sheetrock installations. 5-CCT Field-Selectable Switch: On-site adjustable color mapping toggles easily between warm ambient 2700K and crisp daylight 5000K settings. Universal 120-277V Driver Control: Dual dimming flexibility pairs seamlessly with residential Triac or commercial 0-10V dimming systems. IC Rated & Wet Location Certified: Approved for direct insulation contact and sealed against moisture for safe use in shower stalls, bathrooms, and exterior soffits.
