8 Inch EM Surface Mount Battery | 120V | Accretion Series | Goodlite G-12210

Ensure uninterrupted life safety illumination and sleek ambient lighting with the Accretion 8" EM Surface Mount LED Downlight. Registered under product code G-12210 (Ordering Code: AC8/15W/R/LED/5CCT/EM), this high-performance architectural fixture combines a clean white finish and a slim 1.00-inch height profile with an integrated emergency battery backup system (EM). Engineered for commercial hallways, stairwells, multi-family corridors, and public spaces, it operates seamlessly under normal power while providing crucial emergency illumination during power outages to satisfy safety egress requirements without the need for unsightly external battery boxes or dedicated emergency bug-eye units. Engineered with an outside diameter of 8.18 inches, this fixture mounts directly over standard electrical junction boxes for quick, streamlined installations. On-site customizable color tuning is built directly into the luminaire via an internal 5-CCT selectable switch (3000K, 3500K, 4100K, 5000K, and 6500K), allowing designers and electrical contractors to match surrounding color profiles perfectly. Powered by an energy-efficient 15-watt LED engine, it delivers 1000 lumens of crisp light (CRI >90) across an expansive 120° beam spread for broad, even coverage. Designed for standard 120V grid systems, it supports smooth Triac dimming during normal operational modes. Certified for wet locations, this durable luminaire is safe for use in high-moisture interiors, covered exterior walkways, and emergency stairwells. Key Features: Integrated Emergency Battery Backup (EM): Provides automatic emergency illumination during main power failures to ensure code-compliant egress safety. Ultra-Slim 1.00" Surface Clearance: Mounts flush over standard junction boxes to create a clean, modern aesthetic without requiring plenum depth. Integrated 5-CCT Selector Switch: Adjust color output on-site across five settings ranging from warm 3000K white to high-clarity 6500K daylight. Smooth 120V Triac Dimming: Fully compatible with standard 120V phase-cut dimmers for flexible output control during standard operation. Wet-Location Shielding: Robustly sealed against moisture ingress, permitting certified use in humid indoor zones, showers, and covered outdoor walkways.
