G-05 Master Clock

The G-05 Master Clock Generator, equipped with the "Master Sound Discrete Clock," is designed to enhance the musical expression of digital audio sources. This clock module, developed entirely in-house by Esoteric, is an OCXO (Oven-Controlled Crystal Oscillator) that enables connected digital source equipment to reach new levels of musical performance. The G-05, now available with this proprietary module, can help unlock the full musical reproduction potential of Esoteric's K and N series products, as well as a wide range of other digital players. Dragon Audio Cable Recommendation: We recommend pairing the Esoteric G-05 Master Clock with our Silver Dragon Coax Digital Cable. The Silver Dragon Coax Digital Cable is a pure silver 75ohm digital cable perfect for both audio and video applications. Silver strands clarify instrument separation, increase soundstage, and find previously lost high and mid-frequency sounds. Transients appear more cohesive and the bass is tighter for a more controlled sound. The detail and clarity of the Silver Dragon make it a perfect match for classical music and other genres with many nuanced instruments. Key Features “Master Sound Discrete Clock”, which can make the sound quality of the connected digital player more musical. The G-05 can be used with Esoteric K-series, N-series and various other digital players that have a 10MHz clock input. The Esoteric SXT-03, a large custom crystal oscillator with ideal electro-physical characteristics. Master Sound TC, a unique total temperature control system. Multi-stage heater control with 128 steps to maintain a uniform oven temperature. Three independent power supplies that directly supply the optimum voltage to each circuit block for high-quality sound. Esoteric-HCLD buffer circuit that can output a pure 10MHz sine wave with its powerful current transfer capability. Four 10MHz sine wave clock output terminals. Esoteric's Manufactured Clock Module Esoteric has developed the "Master Sound Discrete Clock" in the G-05 entirely in-house, from the selection of the crystal oscillator to the design of the temperature control circuit and its control program. This custom clock module is dedicated to high-precision music reproduction and is built using a unique discrete circuit. Previously, Esoteric used a general-purpose, packaged crystal oscillator module. However, to achieve tones closer to their engineers' ideals and improve the quality of musical expression, Esoteric has redesigned the crystal oscillator circuit into a unique discrete circuit. This attention to detail demonstrates Esoteric's commitment to creating a clock module tailored specifically for superior audio performance. "Esoteric SXT-03" Custom Crystal Oscillator Crystal clocks are known for their natural timbre, low phase noise, and excellent stability, especially when combined with advanced temperature control systems. The clock signal is generated by oscillation, and there is a strong correlation between the physical properties of the crystal material and the final sound quality achieved. Larger crystals have greater self-oscillation and a larger oscillation margin, even when faced with greater resistance in the circuit, resulting in a more stable oscillator. The G-05 features the Esoteric SXT-03, a large custom crystal oscillator with ideal electro-physical properties. The raw crystal material used in the SXT-03 is slowly grown over an extended period and then cut using the SC-cut (Stress Compensated Cut) technique, which provides excellent temperature characteristics. Esoteric meticulously scrutinizes the manufacturing process, carefully selecting and using only those crystals whose center frequency fluctuations fall strictly within the specified tolerances. The new Esoteric 05 Series The Esoteric 05 Series embodies the core values of the Esoteric brand, offering minimalist and beautiful styling derived from the company's flagship technology and quality. This series is designed to provide a superb listening experience that transports the owner to a first-class audio environment. The 05 Series consists of three key components: K-05XD Super Audio CD player: An iconic player in the Esoteric lineup. N-05XD Network DAC preamplifier: A versatile preamplifier with network capabilities. S-05 Class A stereo power amplifier: Incorporates technology from the premium Grandioso Series. In addition, the G-05 Master Clock Generator has been added to the 05 Series lineup. This component features the unique Master Sound Discrete Clock, which allows users to create an audio system that is more flexible and better suited for the pursuit of superior sound quality.
