Fuyu Persimmon

Persimmons are from the genus Diospyros, which means ‘Divine Fruit’. This fruit is popular in Asia, where both the astringent and non-astringent varieties have been eaten and used as medicine for over 2000 years. The Fuyu Persimmon Tree tops the list of some of the best varieties of persimmon to grow in home gardens. This particular Persimmon Tree is a non-astringent type, which means it can be eaten fresh off the tree. This is the most popular variety grown globally, accounting for 80% of the market. When mature, this tree can produce up to 300 pounds of sweet orange fruit with a long shelf life. These are grafted trees from mother plants to ensure great-tasting fruit and hardy stock. Note: This tree cannot be shipped to AZ, CA, or OR. All sales final. For any questions, please reach out to customer support for assistance. 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee!
