Future Essentials Freeze Dried Chive Rings

100% US-made, canned under Future Essentials label - not available in any retail store in the U.S.A. #2.5 Can / 1.5 oz per can Chives are the bright green, long, thin, hollow leaves of an onion-like plant of the lily family. Chives have a mild, onion-like flavor, with a hint of garlic and are often used as a garnish. Future Essentials Freeze Dried Chive Rings are produced when moisture is removed from the fresh chives using a very low temperature and a vacuum. Only about 3% moisture remains in the freeze dried chives at the time of packaging. The end product weight is reduced by over 90%, while the volume stays the same. This remarkable process concentrates the fresh chive taste, natural color, and texture of fresh chives in its freeze dried state. When re-hydrated with water, freeze dried chives will maintain the texture and shape of fresh chives, with no shrinking or shriveling. Our Future Essentials freeze dried chive is an amazing addition to your food storage. Chives have numerous vitamins and nutrients that will benefit you well in a time of need. Chives are great for your bones, vision, heart, and immunity system. The taste is fresh and vibrant just like its color. These chives can be used in any recipe that require this product. Freeze Dried Chive Rings may be stored in the sealed #2.5 can for 25+ years under ideal storage conditions (a cool, dry place).
