Funny Sauna Rules Sign

Apparently some saunas need more rules than others. This funny sauna rules sign was made for someone who wanted their sauna rules spelled out clearly, with just enough humor to make people stop and read them. The sample covers everything from food and drinks to shutting the door, keeping your hands to yourself, and the most important rule of all: what happens in the sauna stays in the sauna. Or, as this customer put it, entering the sauna is basically signing an NDA. Your sign does not have to use the rules shown in our sample. We make custom engraved signs, so you can send us your own sauna rules, family jokes, names, sayings, or another message and we'll personalize the sign around your space. Your Sauna, Your Rules That's really the fun of this sign. Maybe your sauna has legitimate house rules everybody needs to follow. Maybe your friends have a bad habit of leaving the door open. Maybe there's one guy who pours way too much water on the stones. Or maybe your sauna has slowly become the place where everybody sits around and solves the world's problems. Put it on the sign. You can make the wording serious, funny, slightly sarcastic, or a mixture of all three. Use the Rules Shown or Make Up Your Own If the sample in our photos is exactly your kind of humor, tell us you want the same Sauna Rules design shown in the listing. If you've already got your own rules, even better. Depending on the amount of text and available engraving space, ideas can include: Funny sauna rules Family sauna rules Sauna etiquette No food or drink reminders Door-closing reminders Names or family name Sauna or cabin name Inside jokes Short sayings Your own completely custom rule list If you're looking for another style rather than the humorous rules shown here, you can also see our custom sauna rules sign. Sauna Decor People Will Actually Stop and Read There's plenty of sauna decor out there with trees, mountains, steam, and the word "RELAX" written across it. This one's a little different. It's the kind of sign somebody starts reading because they think it's a normal list of rules, then realizes about halfway through that things have taken a turn. That's exactly why it works so well in a home sauna, cabin sauna, lake house, vacation property, man cave, backyard sauna area, or anywhere friends and family regularly gather. Make It Personal to Your Sauna You can also turn this into something that belongs specifically to your place. Add the family name. Give the sauna a name. Add an established year. Include the one rule everybody in your family already knows because somebody broke it badly enough that it became a permanent story. That's the difference between custom decor and something generic pulled off a shelf. People walk in, read it, and immediately know whose sauna they're standing in. A Funny Gift for Someone Who Takes Their Sauna Seriously If somebody you know finally built the sauna they've been talking about forever, this makes a pretty great housewarming or sauna gift. It's also a fun choice for Christmas, birthdays, cabin owners, new homeowners, retirement, or somebody finishing a home-sauna project. You can even customize the rules around the recipient so the gift feels like it was made specifically to give them a hard time. Laser Engraved Into Real Wood We laser engrave the wording directly into the wood rather than applying vinyl lettering over the surface. Because wood is a natural material, grain patterns, coloring, knots, markings, and engraving appearance can vary from piece to piece. That's normal and part of the character of a real wood sign. One important thing to remember: this is a wood sign. Sauna environments can involve significant heat and moisture, so placement matters. Keep the sign away from the heater, hot stones, direct water, and other areas where excessive heat or moisture could damage the wood or create an unsafe situation. How to Order Your Custom Sauna Rules Sign Choose the available sign options. Enter the wording or rules you want engraved. If you want the same funny rules shown in our sample, tell us that in the customization notes. Add names, dates, or other personalization if desired. Carefully proofread your custom wording before placing the order. You don't need to make your rules sound formal. If the whole point is making your friends laugh every time they walk into the sauna, write them the way you'd actually say them. A Quick Note About Display and Hanging Decorative items used in our product photography are not included with the sign. When offered on the listing, you can choose a rope hanger or sawtooth hanger on the back from the available product options. Because Every Sauna Eventually Develops Its Own Rules Give a group of people enough time in the same sauna and eventually there will be rules. Some will make sense. Some will exist because of one person who absolutely knows what they did. And some things discussed in there probably shouldn't leave the room. Send us your rules, names, jokes, or ideas and we'll turn them into a custom engraved sauna sign that fits your place instead of everybody else's.
