Full Moon Honey

In Full Moon Honey - Andrius Miezis distills serenity and mysticism into a single, glowing image. A golden figure, bathed in moonlight, stands rooted in the dark grass as a luminous orb hovers above their head. A thin stream of honey-like light connects the two - moon and mind fused in a quiet, transcendent flow. The composition feels ritualistic, almost sacred. Miezis’s use of color - the deep night hues against the radiant yellows - evokes both isolation and illumination. The figure’s closed eyes suggest surrender, a meditative merging with the cosmos, as if thought itself has melted into sweetness. In Full Moon Honey, Miezis transforms the moon from a distant celestial body into an intimate source of nourishment. The painting becomes a visual poem about harmony between inner and outer worlds - where enlightenment is not found through struggle, but through stillness, and where even light can taste like honey.
