Fuel Filter - 8M0126144

Fuel Filter - 8M0126144 This fuel filter is an essential part of your Mercury outboard or sterndrive engine's fuel system. It helps ensure the clean flow of fuel to the engine by filtering out contaminants, dirt, debris, and water from the fuel before it enters the engine. A well-maintained fuel filter is critical for preventing engine damage, improving performance, and ensuring fuel efficiency. Replacing the fuel filter on an outboard motor is crucial because it prevents contaminants like dirt and debris from entering the engine, which can significantly damage sensitive internal components, leading to poor performance, reduced fuel efficiency, and potential engine failure if left unchecked. Fits: 450R 4.6L V8 4-Stroke (SN 1E083006 – 1E099720)
