FTF-2DB Neptune Filter Feeder 2 Gallon Dome Bottom With Legs

Neptune FTF-2DB 2-Gallon Filter Feeder (Dome Bottom with Legs) The Neptune FTF-2DB is a 2-gallon industrial bypass feeder featuring a specialized dome bottom and integrated floor legs. This "Filter Feeder" model is designed for dual-action performance: it serves as a high-capacity side-stream filter housing and a chemical shot feeder. The dome bottom design is specifically engineered for easier cleaning and more complete drainage of the unit compared to flat-bottom models. Product Features: - Capacity: 2 Gallons. - Design: Dome Bottom with three (3) integrated legs for floor mounting and stability. - Integrated Filtration: Includes the essential internal stainless steel basket designed to hold Neptune ring-top filter bags (socks). - Pressure Rating: Rated for up to 300 PSI at 200°F. - Construction: High-quality carbon steel body with a wide-mouth opening for easy filter bag changes. - Application: Ideal for closed-loop chilled water and hot water heating systems where total drainage and active filtration are required. How It Works: This unit utilizes the flow of the system to push water through an internal filter bag, capturing scale, rust, and particulates. Simultaneously, it allows for the introduction of liquid water treatment chemicals into the loop. *** FILTER BAG COMPATIBILITY *** The FTF-2DB is designed for use with Neptune "Ring-Top" Filter Socks (sold separately). - Recommended Bags: 1, 5, 20, or 50 Micron (Part numbers: 107026, 106453, 107289, 107231). - Note: This unit IS NOT compatible with PAC-6 drawstring bags.
