FSA SL-K Light BB386EVO Carbon Crankset – 2x

The FSA SL-K Light is a high-performance carbon crankset designed for road and all-road riders who want a stiff, lightweight 2x drivetrain with modern fit compatibility. It’s built around FSA’s BB386EVO 30mm spindle, allowing it to work across a wide range of contemporary frame standards. This crankset is typically chosen for performance-focused builds where efficient power transfer, reliable front shifting, and long-term durability are priorities. Key Features • Hollow carbon fiber crank arms using FSA Hollow Technology • UD carbon finish for a clean, understated look • Cold-forged, CNC-machined 7075 aluminum chainrings • FSA MEGATORQ tooth profile for improved chain retention and shifting consistency • Optimized derailment angle for faster, more precise front shifts • CNC-machined 7050 aluminum BB386EVO 30mm spindle Compatibility & Use Notes • Designed for 2x drivetrains • Spindle standard: BB386EVO, 30mm • Requires a frame-specific compatible bottom bracket (sold separately) • Compatible with Shimano and SRAM 10–11 speed systems • Standard road double chainring interface (110 BCD asymmetrical) • Not intended for 12-speed-only systems Service / Ownership Context Bottom bracket compatibility must be confirmed before installation. Correct preload, torque, and front derailleur setup are critical for shifting performance and bearing life. Chainring wear and drivetrain cleanliness directly affect long-term shift quality on high-performance cranksets. Fit & Use Signals • Good fit for road and all-road bikes • Good fit if your frame supports a 30mm spindle bottom bracket • Good fit for riders who want a traditional 2x drivetrain • Not a fit for frames that cannot accept BB386EVO-compatible BBs • Not ideal if you are building a 1x-only setup
