Aliya Abs' The Quiet Beauty of Summer is a celebration of the gentle abundance and quiet poetry found in the season's fleeting moments. Through luminous landscapes, blooming florals, and contemplative figures, her paintings invite viewers to slow down and reconnect with the restorative beauty of the natural world. Each composition captures a sense of warmth, stillness, and light, revealing the extraordinary within everyday moments. The collection also revisits recurring motifs central to Abs' practice, including her intimate piano scenes and portraits from the Au Revoir series, where women are often depicted from behind in moments of quiet reflection. Together, these works explore the harmony between people and nature, offering contemplative spaces that encourage presence, nostalgia, and an appreciation for the simple beauty that surrounds us.
