(from the manufacturer) We noticed a problem: most cold plunges were designed by people without medical degrees. We believed there was a better approach. With Medical Saunas' team of 48 doctors and engineers, we collaborated to develop the ultimate medical cold plunge – one that would optimize and unlock the true medical potential of cold water therapy. When we started Frozen™, our engineers aimed to do more than just develop another plunge. We wanted to make the best plunge for our friends and family, ensuring it would be safe for them to use. We dove headfirst into researching every cold plunge in existence. We read every negative review, scrutinized every comment, and examined all the issues to ensure our friends, family, and customers wouldn't encounter the same problems. With a substantial investment from Medical Sauna, we began by buying and testing over 53 different cold plunges in the US. And we didn't stop there. Our relentless pursuit of perfection and our goal to develop the world's best medical cold plunge motivated us to seek more investment to buy and import over 112 cold plunges from all over the world, filling our testing facility to the brim. Due to the varying electrical requirements across the globe, we had to construct different electrical stations to test each country's plunge. "We acquired so many plunges to test that we barely had room to walk around." -- Lewis Bonfield (Engineer @ Medical Saunas) After extensive studying, testing, and analyzing numerous forums, we compiled a list of features for the perfect cold plunge. We prioritized practical additions, such as a timer to track how long you've been in the plunge without relying on a phone, which could fall into the water. We also sought numerous comforts that we needed every time we used the plunge, including water and weather-resistant spaces for robes, towels, phones, and watches. We aimed to add as many features as possible while staying true to our mission of optimizing its medical benefits. Frozen™ didn't achieve success overnight. Although cold plunges have gained popularity in recent years, we refused to settle for just any design. It took 2.5 years of 14-hour days, six days a week, and more than 23 prototypes before we engineered a model that received the unanimous approval of all 48 medical professionals on our team. We hope you love Frozen™ as much as we do. Experience the Frozen Energy Shock™ The Frozen™ Cold Plunge is engineered with water that’s just above freezing, giving you the exhilarating Frozen™ Shock of Energy — a powerful burst of vitality the moment you enter the water. It’s an invigorating sensation that you'll love, leaving you feeling refreshed and energized every time you plunge. Doctor-Developed for Health and Safety The Frozen™ Cold Plunge is designed by doctors, with your health and safety as top priorities. To ensure a safe experience, Frozen™ only cools to a minimum of 37°F, the lowest temperature considered safe for regular cold plunges. This near-freezing level makes Frozen™ one of the safest cold plunges on the market for daily use. FoamSeal Military-Grade Insulation for Faster Cooling Unlike many cold plunges that only insulate select parts, the Frozen™ Cold Plunge is insulated throughout — both the outer and inner tank — with military-grade insulation. This comprehensive approach reduces cooling time by 2X, allowing the water to reach your desired temperature faster than most competitors, so you can enjoy your plunge sooner. 20 Ultra Micron Filter System™ for Crystal-Clear Water The Frozen™ 20 Ultra Micron Filter System™ goes beyond standard filtration, not only removing hair, skin cells, and debris but also capturing even the smallest dust particles that enter the water. Unlike competitor systems that leave fine particles behind, our ultra-fine filter continuously removes these impurities, ensuring your water stays exceptionally clean and consistently clear. Ultra-Durable Military-Grade Shell with Exterior UV Protection The Frozen™ Cold Plunge boasts a military-grade shell, similar to the toughness of the Cybertruck. Designed for durability, it features a UV protective coating that shields it from sun damage, ensuring your plunge remains strong and resilient for years to come, even in outdoor conditions. Indoor and Outdoor Use for All-Weather Durability The Frozen™ Cold Plunge is built for versatility, designed for both indoor and outdoor use. It’s engineered to withstand all weather conditions — whether it’s rain, sun, or snow — so you can place it wherever you like and enjoy the benefits of your cold plunge year-round. Easy Setup: No Plumbing Needed - Just Plug & Play The Frozen™ Cold Plunge requires no plumbing or drains, making setup hassle-free. Back to Top Benefits What are the Health Benefits of Cold Plunges? Boost Circulation and Enhance Overall Well-Being Taking a dip in the Frozen™ Cold Plunge triggers a rapid temperature change that causes your blood vessels to constrict, pushing blood toward vital organs and increasing your heart rate. This natural shock response floods your body with oxygen and nutrients, revitalizing your organs and boosting energy levels. The improved blood flow continues throughout the day, supporting a healthier circulatory system. With regular cold plunge sessions, you can enjoy long-term benefits that contribute to your overall well-being. Reduce Inflammation and Promote Natural Healing Cold plunges, like the Frozen™ Cold Plunge, work by constricting blood vessels, reducing blood flow to areas of pain or discomfort, such as sports injuries. This process helps decrease swelling and inflammation, providing natural relief. Athletes and fitness enthusiasts can benefit from cold plunges as a natural way to support recovery and reduce post-workout soreness, promoting faster healing and overall health. WIRED Magazine: All The Ways Ice Baths Affect The Body Boost Immunity and Detoxify A dip in the Frozen™ Cold Plunge can provide a powerful boost to your immune system. Cold water stimulates white blood cells, which help fight off illness, while also causing the lymphatic system to contract and push fluids through the lymph nodes, aiding in detoxification. Studies have shown that regular cold plunges can significantly reduce the risk of upper respiratory infections, making it a natural way to strengthen your body’s defenses. Increase Alertness and Boost Your Energy A session in the Frozen™ Cold Plunge provides an immediate pick-me-up, boosting energy and alertness. Regular use delivers long-term benefits, including enhanced mood, reduced inflammation, and relief from soreness. With every plunge, you’ll feel more energized and refreshed, supporting both your mental and physical well-being. Enhance Skin and Hair Health A Frozen™ Cold Plunge offers multiple benefits for your skin and hair. Cold water helps close pores, protecting your skin from dirt and bacteria, while reducing inflammation and redness. Additionally, it boosts circulation, leaving your skin with a healthy, radiant glow. Regular cold plunges can contribute to a more vibrant and refreshed appearance. Accelerate Your Post-Workout Recovery A Frozen™ Cold Plunge within two hours of your workout can help speed up recovery. Cold plunges flush out lactic acid, reduce inflammation, and improve circulation, promoting faster healing. Additionally, cold plunges stimulate endorphin production, helping to boost your mood and leave you feeling refreshed after intense exercise. Reduce Stress and Build Resilience Regular sessions in the Frozen™ Cold Plunge are an effective way to reduce stress. The controlled shock of cold water helps your body adapt, building resilience over time. Cold plunging also lowers cortisol levels — the hormone responsible for stress — allowing your body to better manage daily pressures.  With repeated plunges, you'll become more equipped to handle stress of all kinds. Back to Top Specifications Dimensions: 80" W x 34" D x 35" H Dry Weight: ~ 579 lbs Filled Weight (with 97 US Gallons): ~ 1,544 lbs Warranty: 3 years parts FAQ Is there any bulky equipment outside of Frozen? Many cold plunges feature bulky external equipment, which can create a potential tripping hazard and detract from their appearance. Advertisements often hide these elements by avoiding angles that show them. In contrast, the Frozen™ Cold Plunge is designed with all equipment neatly housed inside, ensuring a sleek, elegant look and preventing any protruding parts. This design not only enhances its aesthetic but also makes Frozen™ one of the safest and most practical cold plunges available. Is Frozen Cold Plunge self-cleaning? Yes, the Frozen™ Cold Plunge is equipped with both a UV sanitizing system and an advanced self-cleaning filtration system to ensure that the water stays crystal clear and hygienic at all times. Do I need to add ice to Frozen?  No, you don’t need to add ice. The Frozen™ Cold Plunge naturally cools down and maintains your desired temperature, so it’s always ready for use. While it may take a little time to reach the set temperature initially — similar to a hot tub — once it’s cooled, it stays cold without the need for ice. If you want to speed up the process when first setting it up, you can add ice, but after that, Frozen™ will function like a chiller, keeping the water at your ideal temperature. So, you put water in and Frozen will freeze it, right?  Yes, but not completely. The Frozen™ Cold Plunge won’t freeze the water into solid ice, as that would make it unusable. Instead, it cools the water to a near-freezing temperature, allowing for comfortable use. You can adjust the temperature to your preference, and if you like, it can get very close to the freezing point for an extra cold plunge experience. How much electricity does Frozen use? Yes, Frozen™ is highly energy-efficient. It consumes about the same amount of electricity as a typical mini fridge, making it an economical choice for maintaining the perfect cold plunge temperature without significantly impacting your energy usage. Can I adjust temperature and make Frozen warmer? Yes, you can fully adjust the temperature of the Frozen™ Cold Plunge from 37°F up to room temperature. Most homes maintain a room temperature between 68°F and 72°F, so you can customize your plunge from near freezing to a comfortable 72°F, depending on your preference. What are the electrical requirements of Frozen? The Frozen™ Cold Plunge operates on a 120-volt 15 amp system, making it compatible with any standard household outlet. Just like a computer or common household appliance, you simply plug it in, and it’s ready to go.
