FROG® Jump Start | Fresh-Fill Spa Startup Shock | 500 gal

FROG® Jump Start is a single-packet startup product that brings freshly filled spa or hot tub water up to the perfect initial sanitizer level — fast. Drop the packet in, watch it fizz, run the jets for a minute, and you're done. One packet treats up to 500 gallons of water. Refilling a hot tub is the moment when water care is most likely to go wrong. Fresh tap water has no sanitizer in it at all, which means bacteria, biofilm, and contaminants have a head start before your normal water care program catches up. Adding chlorine by hand on a new fill is fiddly: too little and you risk a cloudy tub for days, too much and you can't soak. Jump Start solves both problems — it's pre-measured to the dose your spa actually needs, and the effervescent action helps it dissolve faster and more evenly than granular chlorine you'd scoop in. While Jump Start is the perfect companion to the FROG® @ease system (it sets the starting chlorine level @ease needs to begin self-regulating), it's not @ease-exclusive. Any hot tub using chlorine, bromine, ozone, or biguanide sanitizers can use it on a fresh fill — making it the cleanest, simplest way to start any spa cycle. Why Starting Right Matters: Hot tub water turns cloudy or develops biofilm in the days after a refill more often than at any other point in the maintenance cycle, because fresh water has zero sanitizer to start with. A pre-measured startup packet eliminates the guesswork and gets your sanitizer level into the right range from the first jet cycle — which means clean, clear water from day one instead of day three.
