Frill Factor™ Adrenaline Blush Pinks (Dianthus)

(Pinks) Flowers transform as they mature on Dianthus FRILL FACTOR™ 'Adrenaline Blush', creating an ever-changing display. Large blooms open blushing pink before gradually fading to soft white. Several stages of color can appear across the plant at once. Heavily serrated petal edges give each flower the dramatic, fringed appearance of the FRILL FACTOR™ Series. The blooms also have a pleasant fragrance. This low-growing Dianthus reaches 8-10 inches tall and spreads 26-28 inches wide. Its dense habit slowly expands outward while maintaining a neat appearance. The broad spread creates an abundance of flowers without adding excessive height. Grow it in full sun with well-drained soil for the best performance. Hardy in zones 4-9, Dianthus FRILL FACTOR™ 'Adrenaline Blush' offers strong vigor and improved cold hardiness. Its compact size works especially well near the front of perennial beds and along sunny borders. It can also grow successfully in containers where its detailed flowers are easy to appreciate. The fragrant blooms attract bees and butterflies when they visit the garden for nectar. Deer generally avoid Dianthus, adding another benefit for landscapes with browsing pressure. The large flowers also make lovely additions to fresh-cut arrangements. Cut stems as the pink flowers begin opening to enjoy their fragrance and changing colors indoors. Dianthus FRILL FACTOR™ 'Adrenaline Blush is a Proven Winners® Perennial.
