Friendship

In Friendship - Andrius Miezis paints a cosmic ode to connection and wonder. Two round, faceless figures sit side by side on a cliff, one playfully pointing a slingshot toward a sky crowded with planets, UFOs, and drifting celestial objects. Below, a serene river winds through a dreamlike valley, its calm waters reflecting the vast, chaotic universe above. The composition balances absurdity and serenity - the quiet companionship of the figures contrasts with the surreal spectacle unfolding across the heavens. Miezis infuses the scene with humor and tenderness, showing that even in the face of infinite mystery, friendship anchors the spirit. Friendship becomes a meditation on togetherness amid the unknown - a reminder that shared curiosity, laughter, and imagination can turn even the strangest cosmic landscape into a home. In Miezis’s universe, the bond between two beings, however odd, shines brighter than the stars themselves.
