a fridge is an animal, by Erie Kuhlmann

Poetry, chapbook, 32 pages, from Bottlecap Features. There’s nothing so ordinary that it is below notice, and every aspect of life contains meaning, however beautiful or horrific. All we need to do is pay attention. a fridge is an animal attempts to capture the value of the homely, the beauty in the slightly ugly, and the fear and sadness that make up the momentum of living from day to day; a magnifying glass to the mundane, the domestic, and the necessary. Erie Kuhlmann is an east coast writer and artist, specializing in unanswerable questions and in not answering them. Her work has appeared in All My Friends and Sunday Mornings at the River Anthology.
