Store your treasures in patch pockets on the side and back. The fit of Flâneurs is comfortable and flexible. Size up for a relaxed slightly oversized pant, size down for a more fitted pant.  Flâneur is a French term that was popularized in the 19th century to describe a type of person who wanders around for their own enjoyment, generally in an urban setting. A Flâneur would be someone who saunters about town without specific purpose, seemingly just to observe and explore. The Flâneur Pants are designed for mid-heavy bottom weight woven fabrics. Your fabric choice will have a big effect on the look of your pants. For a structured, work wear look, choose a fabric like a cotton canvas, denim, or twill. For a lighter feel you could opt for a 6-8 oz linen, a suiting, or a rayon  Notions: 1- 3/4"[1.9cm] button 1 - size #7/8 zipper for fly, 6-8”[15-20cm] long  3/4 yard [.7 meters] - 1.5”[3.8cm] wide elastic  Matching thread  1/8 yard [0.1 meters] of fusible interfacing  Zipper foot for your sewing machine  OPTIONAL: topstitching thread.
