Friday May 14th 1948 Metal

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Limited Perpetual Calendar Inspired Israel Metal Edition. Operates as a functioning wall clock. Sculpture measures 25" H x 25" W x 1" D A striking fusion of art and functionality, this piece is both a sculptural masterpiece and a fully operational wall clock. Created to honor Israel’s independence, the design replaces traditional time markers with Hebrew letters, a subtle yet powerful nod to heritage and identity. The chronograph is set precisely to Friday, May 14, 1948, the date of Israel’s founding. Interwoven throughout the work are Magen David stars, the timeless declaration “Am Yisroel Chai” in Hebrew, as well as depictions of the Western Wall and Israeli flag across the chronograph sub-dials. Together, these elements transform the clock into both a functional object and a layered tribute to Jewish resilience, history, and pride. We also offer tailored customization options—whether you'd like a name, birthday, a special brand motif, a logo or any personalized text or iconography—integrated seamlessly into the design to bring your unique vision to life.
