Frida Kahlo Keepsake Boxed Notecards

With an unflinching gaze, Frida Kahlo faces viewers in dozens of self-portraits that reveal a complex individual through layered symbolism. Drawing upon motifs in Mexican culture, Aztec mythology, and Catholic iconography, Kahlo made use of traditional interpretations to heighten and contrast her own connection to each element. The result is a kaleidoscopic illustration of her feelings on everything from her intimate experiences with chronic pain and tumultuous relationships to her broader views on identity, culture, resistance, and creativity—the intense reality of her life. •  16 assorted blank notecards (4 each of 4 designs) with envelopes • Paper-wrapped decorative box with hinged closure • Printed in full color on FSC paper with soy based inks • High-quality 250 gsm card stock • Soft white envelopes • A2 card size • Pomegranate’s notecard sets feature exclusive selections of art from museums and artists around the world Box size: 6.25 x 5 x 1.25 in.
