Freya The Radiant: Jasmine Bai Hao Oolong with Bergamot & Berry

The Rarest Expression of Beauty & Strength Freya’s strength & beauty could only be depicted through one of the rarest and most unique teas on planet earth: Oriental Beauty Oolong (Bai Hao / Dong Fang Mei Ren) There is a tea that owes its magic to a tiny insect — and we think that’s one of the most extraordinary stories in all of the tea world. Oriental Beauty, known in Taiwan as Dong Fang Mei Ren, is born in the mist-draped hills of Hsinchu County, where small leafhoppers (Jacobiasca formosana) nibble the tender leaves, triggering the plant to produce a naturally occurring sweetness unlike anything else in nature. No pesticides. No interference. Just the wisdom of an ecosystem doing exactly what it was designed to do. What You’ll Taste Ripe summer peach kissed with wildflower honey, a breath of warm spice, and a finish that lingers like the last note of a song you don’t want to end. The liquor pours a luminous reddish-amber — deep, jewel-toned, and gorgeous in the cup. What Makes It Unlike Any Other Oolong This tea is highly oxidized — closer to a black tea in character — which gives it a richness and body that feels almost like sipping liquid velvet. The leaves themselves are a work of art: multi-colored, silver-tipped, and twisted, each one a tiny masterpiece. It has long been called the Champagne of teas — and we agree. This is a tea for celebrating ordinary moments as sacred ones. Brewing Your Cup Water temperature: 185°–195°F Steep time: 2–3 minutes Re-steeps beautifully 3+ times — each cup a different chapter of the same story. Especially exquisite brewed Gongfu style. About This Blend This is not simply a tea. This is Freya’s cup — and we crafted it to hold her essence entirely. To the wild, honey-drenched soul of Oriental Beauty, we’ve woven in three sacred additions: Jasmine flower blossoms — opened slowly, the way Freya opens the heart. Their fragrance is an ancient love language, soft and intoxicating, rising from the cup like an offering. Ripe strawberry essence — sun-warmed, lush, and deeply feminine. A nod to the sweetness of desire and the fullness of a life lived without apology. Oil of Bergamot from Sicily — cold-pressed from sun-soaked Calabrian rinds, this bright, luminous citrus lifts the entire blend into something radiant. Like light catching the surface of something precious. Together, they create a cup that is honeyed, floral, fruity, and alive — layered the way Freya herself is layered: fierce and tender, ancient and electric.
