Achieve Furniture-Grade Precision with the Ultimate Solution for Flawless Box Joint Construction Streamline your woodworking workflow with the Freud SBOX8 8" Box Joint Cutter Set, specifically engineered to deliver crisp, splinter-free joints without the hassle of a traditional dado set. Ideal for professional cabinet makers, furniture builders, and dedicated hobbyists, this set produces perfectly square-bottomed grooves for high-strength joinery. By simply reversing the two included blades, you can switch between 1/4" and 3/8" width cuts, making it the most efficient tool for creating decorative boxes, drawers, and structural shelving joints with absolute consistency. Each blade is constructed from Freud’s exclusive TiCo™ High-Density Carbide, a specialized crosscutting blend that ensures maximum performance and a razor-sharp edge over thousands of cuts. To protect your investment, the blades feature a Silver I.C.E. (Industrial Cooling Element) coating that prevents pitch build-up and keeps the tool running significantly cooler than standard steel.
