Freud 99-520 3-1/2 Inch Quadra-Cut Raised Panel Router Bit with 1/2 Inch Shank for Professional Cabinet Doors and Woodworking Projects Carbide Tipped

Create Flawless, Professional Cabinetry with Freud’s Exclusive Quadra-Cut™ Raised Panel Bit The Freud 99-520 3-1/2" Quadra-Cut Raised Panel Bit is the ultimate solution for woodworkers who demand a glass-smooth finish on doors, drawer fronts, and decorative paneling. This bit utilizes Freud's patented Quadra-Cut technology, which employs a four-cutter design: two small wings shear downward to eliminate splintering at the top edge, while two large wings shear upward to provide an exceptionally smooth surface. By combining these opposing shear angles, the 99-520 ensures a flawless profile that requires little to no sanding, even when working with challenging hardwoods. Designed for maximum performance and longevity, this bit features TiCo™ High-Density Carbide and a Perma-SHIELD® non-stick coating to reduce heat buildup and prevent pitch accumulation. This specific bit is engineered with a 5/8" carbide height, making it ideal for creating deep, elegant profiles in 3/4" thick stock. For the safest and most accurate results, this large-diameter bit must be used in a table-mounted router equipped with a fence. Whether you are building custom kitchen cabinets or intricate wall paneling, Freud’s industrial-grade engineering delivers the precision and durability needed for professional-level woodworking. Key Features Patented Quadra-Cut™ Technology: Four-cutter design provides a flawless finish by shearing both upward and downward. Industrial Carbide Construction: High-density carbide tips ensure a long cutting life and maximum durability. Perma-SHIELD® Coating: Non-stick coating reduces friction and protects the bit from heat and resin buildup. Optimized for 3/4" Stock: The 5/8" carbide height is specifically tailored for 3/4" thick hardwood or softwood panels. Versatile Application: Perfect for creating raised panels for cabinet doors, drawer fronts, plaques, and moldings. What's Included (1) Freud 3-1/2" (Dia.)
