Fresh Smoked Black Cod

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This smoked black cod comes from the cold waters off Alaska, where these fish develop the rich, oily meat that makes them special. Smoked carefully to bring out that natural richness without covering up what makes black cod taste so good in the first place. The texture is what gets people hooked. It's soft and almost creamy, way different from other smoked fish you might have tried. The smoking adds just enough flavor to complement the fish's buttery taste, creating something that works on its own or in recipes. You can eat this smoked black cod from the package, warm it gently, or flake it into salads and rice dishes. It's popular in Japanese cooking, but it's good with just about anything. Try it on toast with some cream cheese, or eat it straight with some crackers and a cold drink. This kind of fish turns a regular meal into something worth remembering.
