French Roast - Organic

Its strong, rich flavor and dark brown color characterize French roast coffee. The beans typically roasted to a higher temperature, which gives them their distinctive dark hue and robust taste. French Roast Origin French roast originated in France in the 19th century. The French style of roasting, involving heating the beans to a high temperature for an extended time, gives the coffee its name. This results in a more evenly roasted bean with a deeper, more complex flavor profile. Characteristics One of the key characteristics of this blend is its intense flavor. It is often described as having a bold, smoky taste with hints of chocolate and caramel, and roasters usually roast the beans until they reach a deep, dark brown color. Despite its dark roast, this coffee is not necessarily stronger in terms of caffeine content than other types of coffee. The type of beans used and the brewing method largely determine the caffeine content of coffee. However, this coffee does tend to have a fuller body and more robust flavor.   Overall, French roast coffee is a rich, full-bodied coffee with a bold, smoky flavor and high acidity. It is a popular choice for those who enjoy a strong, intense coffee experience. Espresso-based drinks like cappuccinos and lattes often use it.   Classic Baker's Chocolate Rich Certified organic by CCOF
