French Manicure™ Panicle Hydrangea

A Nature Hills EXCLUSIVE! Elegant and refined, your garden needs this finishing touch! The French Manicure™ Panicle Hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Bailpantwo' PPAF) is just the final touch to any garden! Big, pointed blooms transform from creamy white to pink to almost red in some climates as the clusters of flowers age! Imagine one in your garden or a few glorious blooms in a vase indoors! They look fantastic both fresh and dried! The huge, pointed flower panicles are tight and creamy white when they first open in summer. As the cool nights and warm days come in fall, you will notice the transformation of these amazing blooms where they color pink and red from the bottoms of the flower with white tips just like the best French manicure! The summer blooming continues to dazzle and draw pollinators to your landscape as the blooms change color. Even as the fall season progresses, the blooms dry and remain on the shrub for a fantastic winter show! A super hardy, woody Panicle Hydrangea with a wildly compact and well-branched form – but at the same time, full-sized flowers with amazing color. French Manicure™ is fast-growing, there's no worry that your soil pH will change the color of the blooms - They stay true to their hue year after year! This deciduous shrub completely covers itself in magnificent blooms. French Manicure™ is easily maintained in the 4-5 foot rounded form with the once-a-year trim in late winter or early spring. Planting and Application: French Manicure™ looks lovely even when not in bloom, filling out with lush green, quilted foliage that has a delightful toothy edge. Plant Hydrangea in enriched, well-drained soils, and a 3-4 inch layer of mulch over the surface, should be all that is needed to keep this plant happy. A simple once-a-year pruning job in early spring before it starts to grow is all that is needed. Prune off the old blooms and shorten up any branches needed to give the plant a nice rounded form in the size you like.
