As the eldest sibling, her family, driven by desperation, placed their trust in a local agent who promised a brighter future. Instead, Tho Tho was taken to a place where she faced months of abuse and enslavement. Her escape stands as a testament to her immense determination. Over several months, she painstakingly gathered scrap materials and fashioned them into knots, which ultimately became her lifeline to freedom. Each piece in our collection draws inspiration from Tho Tho’s courage, resilience, and the powerful symbolism of the knots that were key to her liberation. Wearing jewelry crafted by survivors of human trafficking not only adds beauty and significance to your collection but also pays tribute to a story of survival and strength.
