Worry (Freedom from Worry) ~ Subliminal

Freedom from Worry — Worry often encompasses more emotions than many might think. Webster includes some of these ramifications in the definition, "worry: give way to anxiety or unease; allow one's mind to dwell on difficulty or troubles; a state of anxiety and uncertainty over actual or potential problems." In other words, worry is often a heightened state of arousal (preparedness) that prompts the release of neurochemicals such as adrenaline and acetylcholine. This in turn heightens our anxiety because the feedback from the body is excitatory. Release worry, enjoy a restful mind, and improve your health! Worrying takes a lot of energy and robs you of your ability to think clearly. If you cannot thing clearly, then it is very difficult to find solutions. As such, worrying about a problem is counter-productive. In addition, worrying puts a lot of stress on the body, which of course can create other problems. The impact of anxiety on our thinking faculties including memory can be dreadful. In an article appearing in Frontiers of Human Neuroscience, "Anxiety disorders constitute a sizeable worldwide health burden with profound social and economic consequences. The symptoms are wide-ranging; from hyperarousal to difficulties with concentrating. This latter effect falls under the broad category of altered cognitive performance." The fact is, worrying puts the brain in a state of anxiety and the brain therefore is making decisions about what to fear while the prefrontal cortex fails to suppress the amygdala, putting the body into fight or flight mode. This action totally inhibits the optimal operation of higher cognitive abilities. Additionally, this hyper-state of preparedness minimizes the most advantageous performance of one's autonomic nervous system, endocrine and immune system.  Worry is a state of mind. It is known not by just what one feels, but by what they think—how they talk to themselves. It can be unidentified worry but the mind still searches for the source. In other words, when we think differently, worry disappears and so does the anxiety attached to it. Free yourself from worrying today! Why not enjoy a restful mind and improve your health? Act now—you deserve it.
