She commutes to work in Port-Au-Prince from Simonette, a small beach village north of the city. Before her job with Vi Bella, she sold groceries in open-air markets around her area. She ran out of business after the earthquake of 2010 and a friend recommended her to Vi Bella. She says, "My work has helped me a lot to take care of my family.
