Franklin 2 Black Leather Wallet – Handmade in USA

Lost Dutchman Leather traces its commercial beginnings to 2017, when founder Nathan “Nate” Walker began selling his leatherwork online; he made the business his full-time work in 2020. With early roots in Mesa, Arizona, the company now identifies its workshop as Apache Junction, Arizona. Walker’s childhood interest in leathercraft grew into a business focused on useful designs, durable materials, and American handcraftsmanship. The team aims to make everyday goods that people can keep and enjoy as the leather develops character. The black Franklin 2 leather wallet is designed for people who regularly carry cash alongside their cards. A dedicated side-access cash pocket and an internal divider separate bills from cards, while a rear pocket provides a place for your most-used card. The single-piece, stitchless construction folds into a compact wallet with a tuck-in front flap. The black finish gives the folded silhouette an understated look for everyday carry. Single piece of full-grain American cowhide Stitchless folded construction with a tuck closure Rear easy-access card pocket Separate cash area with side access and an interior divider Capacity up to 10 cards and up to 15 bills Handmade start to finish in Arizona, United States Closed dimensions: 3 × 3.875 inches. The maker lists note compatibility up to approximately 69 × 161 mm. There is no separate International version of the Franklin 2. Compare your currency’s dimensions before choosing this model, especially if you use taller banknotes. Capacity is a maximum stated by the maker. Actual fit depends on card thickness, bill count, and how the contents are arranged. Start with your daily essentials and check that the flap tucks closed without force. This black wallet uses full-grain American cowhide. The natural grain can show small variations, and use can gradually change the surface color and sheen. Patina and minor scuffs give individual pieces a different appearance over time. This particular model is stitchless; generic references to thread on the supplier’s site do not describe its construction. Wipe away surface dust with a clean, dry cloth. For a mark that needs more attention, use a slightly damp cloth without soaking the leather. Avoid harsh soaps and household chemicals. If the wallet gets wet, gently blot it and let it air dry away from direct sunlight, heaters, and hairdryers. Apply a small amount of suitable leather conditioner when the hide feels dry, following the conditioner’s instructions and testing a discreet area first. Conditioning needs vary with use and climate. Keep the wallet away from prolonged heat and avoid packing in more cards than it closes around comfortably. For the Franklin 2, organize cards behind the divider and access cash from the side. Bills may be carried unfolded or folded in half. Use the rear pocket for a frequently needed card, keeping the wallet’s main contents organized separately. Compare the brown Franklin 2 wallet for the same layout in a warmer finish. Shipping for this walletThe supplier lists dispatch within five business days for this standard wallet when in stock. This is a product-specific processing estimate, separate from carrier transit; delivery depends on the destination and service selected. BuyAmerican’s usual dispatch target is two to four business days, so allow for this supplier’s longer stated window. Check current availability before ordering; an unavailable variant has no promised restock date. Shipping charges and any eligible offers are shown at BuyAmerican checkout. The supplier’s direct-store free-shipping promotion is not a BuyAmerican checkout promise.
