Frankincense Scented Candle - 8 oz

Frankincense: The spiritual and meditative scent of these ancient, aromatic resins. Rich, balsamic and spicy - timeless! A truly beautiful and unique fragrance. Frankincense has been traded on the Arabian Peninsula and in North Africa for more than 5000 years. It is tapped from the Frankincense trees by slashing the bark, which is called striping and allowing the exuded resin to bleed out and harden. These hardened resins are called tears. The aroma from these tears is more valuable for its presumed healing abilities and is also said to have superior qualities for religious rituals.
