Frankincense - Essential Oil

Frankincense is an aromatic resin obtained from the sap of various trees. It has a sweet smell, and its manufacture spread through ancient cultures in Africa and Asia for religious ceremonies such as prayers to idols or offerings during holidays such as Christmas and masses in Catholic churches. The origins are unclear, but it may have been used by nomadic tribes living near oases long before trade routes between Egypt, India, Arabia, China, and East Africa were established. In ancient times, incense was considered a luxury good. Prized for its sweet scent and healing properties, our soothing frankincense essential oil is an excellent addition to your bath or massage routine thanks to its ability to calm nerves with just a few drops while also nourishing skin cells, due to the rich mineral content found inside each bottle!
